Packing Lists

Several times per year, Troop 144 goes canoeing, tubing, and/or caving (aka spelunking). These trips require special equipment to keep our Scouts safe and having fun!

• For canoeing trips, in addition to the general packing list we suggest packing all gear in a 40L dry bag, such as this.

• For canoeing and tubing trips, Scouts must wear some type of water shoes while on the river.

• For spelunking trips, Scouts should wear old clothing (jeans/long pants, long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt) and shoes (waterproof if possible) that he does not mind getting (VERY!) dirty.
